I have been wanting to write but unable to get out of the game. This game has no winners, so losers never quit and winners never play. The game is called sanity – mental order that takes very long to get started and a short time to end, not to be shared or borrowed but enjoyed once again.
I’m still sober and feeling stable but also ordinary and expressionless. The daily grind of work and family keeps me busy and thoughtful but creativity and introspection have gone to the wayside. Having creative thoughts that I keep to myself is still alive in me but not writing my experiences down leaves me uninspired to speak out. Sometimes an initial moment of insight one has is overwhelming and keeps us silent. By sharing our experience we can realize that we are not alone in being overwhelmed but we are only at different stages of communicating and that different levels of communicating are only quantified by how often we share our experiences. Effort is the key to improvement while improvements unlock our potential.
I walked into a coffeehouse earlier today that was really busy and it seemed everybody was talking all at once or active in some way. Everything seemed very synchronized. I began to feel closed off for a second because I was standing still and silent, almost confused. I shook it off and snapped back to it with a good thought that we are all living together on this planet as one human family, me included. I realized at that moment each one of us needs every human around us to maneuver within the role they play in order to not single out anybody who is being an individual by not playing their role due to resistance to the game. To exclude yourself from the game of synchronicity is to perpetuate insanity which for me means not being in sync with your own ambitions and talents but instead measuring yourself against those that can’t recognize their own ambitions and talents. In other words each one of us is an individual but wanting what another person can’t have will leave you lonesome and make them unattainable which is what separates those who are being from those that imagine.
