I remember the time I was asked how come I don’t know people have more intelligence than me. That stripper was certainly smart but did she mean all people and if so why was my intelligence in question and not my propensity to ignore all the people I’ve come in contact without asking even one of them if they are more intelligent than me. If I didn’t know better I would say people are more intelligent than me but confessing to stupidity is justified only when one can identify intelligence. It takes one to know one. I am better off staring at people naked on a stage and having my intelligence rejected than having my intelligence rejected while standing on a stage.
