You don’t have to tickle their feet to realize a robot is without feelings. No need to laugh at them being worth billions in barrels of oil. Robots have us throttling towards environmental exhaustion though they are designed to make our lives easier.
There has never been a robot known to swim before the megaton nuclear submarines put their targets on fields of fuel. There has never been a robot known to fly before drones strike blood in combat with civilian strangers and occasionally an unknown soldier. There has never been a robot known to drive before autonomous cars replace red blooded, blue collar built muscle cars with white gloves to clean the environment.
As a result there will not be people to change the oil in cars or fly planes into buildings or shoot nuclear weapons in the desert.
You don’t have to twist the arm of a human to find out what their priorities may be. No need to laugh at them for lowering their standards of care for other humans and the environment. Humans are racing to make robots so they can decide to be or not to be mechanics or killers.
