Jesus…I…look out for…need…(indecipherable)…for…forget it…Amen.
That is how well I pray inside my head as I breathe out thoughts I know I don’t need to say in order to be heard by any one force that already knows what is inside my head. When I pray for others I come up with the same broken language for each breath but I start with their name instead of Jesus’. I begin to pray to the person because I can’t pray for them. I can’t breathe for them. I can breathe to a person, and I can breathe at a person but I can’t seem to breathe for a person. I mean if I was really searching for someone I guess I could breathe louder so maybe they would hear me breathing and they would in turn find me. I’m not expecting anybody else to breathe harder or pray harder for me. If anything I don’t want people to pray for me at all because if they are praying for me then I have something going on that is pressing enough to need divine intervention to keep me breathing. People are always breathing for themselves and when they try to pray for themselves they wind up skipping a breath then possibly skipping the prayer all together. We should practice our breathing by praying for other people. That goes for every person in any religion. We should learn to breathe on our own consciously and subconsciously as well as figuratively. If you want to pray to Jesus specifically just remember that you are not praying for yourself, there is always somebody else or something greater than yourself when you pray to Jesus. Find Jesus by breathing to Jesus, for Jesus, and at Jesus. Pray to the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. The deeper you breathe during meditation, the more you pray, the more people will find you easier to decipher and more importantly they will find you. Breathing is the same as praying when you gain more confidence to pray.
