Defining Words Creatively

Creating a new definition within a sentence that explains a word is more challenging than simply providing a standard definition. This writing is in between the definition of words and a new idea when presenting definitions with words. Finding a way to write the definition of a word, eerily similar to opposite the meaning of the sentence it is being used in, is more difficult than the definition itself. What makes the idea of a new definition strange is that it is created within a sentence that is written to explain the word but the same word is being used in the sentence. I’m not talking about using the word in a sentence to explain the sentence better but rather the actual sentence explains the word. Here’s the tricky part, the description of the word is being used that way for the very first time making it created and defined, not historically derived. So what came first, the word or the definition of the word? Of course the object of the word came first, then how the object came to be placed is the meaning and finally the word being seen over and over again as the same object makes it defined. If the object is identical to the object right next to it, naming the first one as a substratum to the other makes identifying it within a sentence more complicated; there will not be any new meanings or ideas without the foundation of the word being used first and with an alternate ending. There will only be definitions upon definitions upon definitions upon definitions within a sentence and no more new words left to create. To find a new and creative way in defining words that goes beyond the approach of simply providing a traditional definition one needs to put the word within the definition, intertwined with the sentence it is being used in to explain the meaning of the word, only then will words form new meanings. Simplified – the definition of a word is shown in a unique sentence from literature portraying how the word is used in context while the context is being created.
