Creativity Over Consistency

The more revealing a piece of writing is when you’re able to see how it was created but less likely to understand why, the easier it is to brush it off as amateur.

The more elusive a piece of writing is when it is too complicated to understand in its entirety the harder it is to know who wrote it.

The more consistent a style of writing is to what people have read before the wider the audience will be but at the expense of losing creativity.

The more creative a style of writing is to what people have never seen before the less it is understood but more imagination is gained.

The more specific the audience becomes the less consistent the writer will be after trying to find an elusive audience with several different styles of writing.

The more that specific pieces of creative writing are revealed to an audience for recognition the more elusive the meaning becomes as the consistency of the message becomes more about the writer’s ego than about the audience’s understanding.
