If I were just a thought

Why is it that I’m always listening to facts and opinions when neither are original enough to give me an answer to the question of what is an original thought? 

When one considers the fact that discoveries are original, since they were technically here first before being revealed, the history of an original thought can’t be a new discovery for being an idea first that was suggested by other thoughts because collective thoughts come together to make a discovery. 

If one stumbles upon a discovery like an artifact that has never been seen by the world before that doesn’t mean the artifact has never been seen by anyone throughout history. It was probably not the one and only arrowhead of its time. Artifacts from the future do not exist. 

When somebody stumbles upon a new chemical compound in the lab that is new to the environment it definitely has not been made naturally to stumble upon and the agitator shows others how to make it. It was once the one and only compound of its kind but only once and it was compounded by the building blocks of other chemicals. Chemistry is one variation from being original. 

If somebody stumbles upon a concept that is innovative it doesn’t mean that the concept hasn’t been thought of before. You can draw a fish with three eyes and put it in a cartoon but you can’t derive the theories of adaptability and evolution from a cartoon. It was never the one and only thought of the cartoonist that a third eye is developed from the misuse of chemicals. That thought evolved with the onset of environmental degradation and the decline of civilization which came before LSD and the Simpsons. Art from today is yesterday’s vision for the minds of tomorrow.  

Facts have a starting point and have no end. Facts are like chemicals, they are produced and stay that way forever, unless changed for another purpose. 

Opinions are similar to facts. Opinions change over time.

Originally I thought one way and now I see it differently. Originally I thought that facts and opinions are opposing ways to discover the truth but now I know they are just similar thoughts that represent time when put at the end of a post. 

If I were just a thought I’d be original.
