My cat has figured out that there is a way to get around our sterile, empty apartment because there are more than just four white walls. There are shades of gray around each corner that lead to other rooms. She has learned that if you keep one eye on the nearest wall at the hallway and keep the other eye on the far wall you can see through walls. Because my cat can see through walls she doesn’t care that she is in stark contrast to the white walls that surround her each day. She walks through them to the other side into the gray. My cat has taught herself that not everything is plain black and white.
