Just Another Day On The Job

What bothers you and why?

Eric didn’t tangle the hose and he wouldn’t untangle it either. He hates hoses. Any time an impossible mess of string or wire, chain or hose comes across his hands or feet Eric would rather cuss at it, like cussing at the moon in the daylight when it can’t be seen. The moon lights up the night as cursing lights up his obsession for straight lines while he howls over his tangled thoughts. Eric knows the words to describe the frustration in his hands and at his feet but he chooses vulgarity before an easy fix instead of poetry over a complex analogy like the moon cussing at the daylight when it can’t be seen.
