Can You Solve This Riddle?

I feel like people take this word and overuse it to the point where the meaning of the word becomes filler for where lengthy answers should be and if not an answer the word could also be used as a question. You tell the demeanor of a person with this word when you have no other word to compliment their temperament. It was originally the description of a person who is admired for their modern mystique and stylish candor but has become a term to show approval of anything. It’s an American word that was overused even before guys like me made it a predictable description of someone like ourselves and the stamp of approval on what everybody else says. It’s a one word question asking if the task at hand is acceptable before one proceeds. It is filler for lengthy responses when you really don’t want to respond. It has become the shortest way to show you know fashion but only if you personify the word. The word is at the tip of your tongue until it becomes more annoying than useful. I don’t want the word to go away, I just don’t want to over use it myself. I would tell you the word but if you don’t know it you can’t be it.
