The Difference Between Insanity and Death

What experiences in life helped you grow the most?

I grew up one day when I was 22 years young. I stepped into a bar and was told the meaning of life by a dead person who was lingering in the corner speaking to everybody but only I could hear. I was sober but insane. He told me that whoever spoke to him everybody else would stop talking and listen to what they had to say. I ignored him because he appeared to be giving everybody the same opportunity but I knew I was alone in listening. I turned to the first drunk next to me and told him what I saw. The drunk didn’t believe me and I didn’t hear anything about it from them until twenty years later. If I had listened to the ghost and spoke directly to him in the corner I think that everybody would have stopped what they were doing and listened to what I had to say. If I hadn’t turned to my friend first and instead spoke to the ghost I may have the decency today to tell people what I hear before I tell them what they can not see. My friend may still be alive today.
