How do you write what people actually want to read?
Write the way you could speak if you didn’t have to use the people in front of you as a sounding board for your intellect but instead use the people behind you as an antenna for your emotions. Write like somebody is watching your thoughts but can’t hear them so that you will say it with finesse instead of coercion. Write like you have to say something before anybody else does so you can synchronize your timing with luck. Write with the same urgency you feel in a crowd of ten thousand souls then choose your words as wisely. Then write with your eyes closed so you may hear humanity before you speak. You may find that the audience is inside you and the writer outside.
